In a sauté pan
Heat very slowly. Low to medium heat.
1/3 cup Olive Oil
4 toes of garlic (2 toes shaved so thinly that you can feel the knife pass by your fingers holding the garlic) Mince the other 2.
Take your time. They need to brown, not burn.
Fresh ground pepper
Crushed red pepper
Salt if you like
Drain the pasta that have been boiling and add to the sauté pan. Toss and enjoy.
Top with freshly diced parsley and tomato if you have access.
